Lebanese forward Lucas Saleh has officially signed with Kobe Storks, one of the newly promoted teams in Japan’s B1 League, marking a new chapter in his professional career.

Saleh enjoyed a strong start to the season with Central Club before the Lebanese league was temporarily halted. While his numbers may not fully reflect his impact, the versatile forward played a crucial role on both ends of the floor, particularly as the team’s primary defensive stopper.

In 19 appearances this season, Saleh averaged:

  • 5.9 points per game
  • 4.6 rebounds per game
  • 2.3 assists per game
  • 23.4 minutes per game
  • 33% from three-point range

Beyond the statistics, Saleh established himself as one of the league’s most reliable defenders, regularly taking on the challenge of guarding opposing imports and some of the toughest offensive players in the Lebanese Basketball League. His defensive versatility, physicality, and team-first mentality made him a key piece for Central throughout the opening phase of the season.

Now heading to Japan, Saleh will join a Kobe Storks side preparing for its return to the top division, bringing valuable international experience and defensive toughness to the B1 League.

Best of luck to Lucas Saleh in Japan! 🇱🇧🇯🇵
