Antranik Club has secured one of the Lebanese Basketball League’s most dynamic scorers for the foreseeable future, officially extending the contract of American point guard Jeremiah Gambrell Jr. for an additional two seasons.
The extension comes after a standout campaign in which Gambrell established himself as one of the league’s premier offensive players and played a crucial role in helping Antranik secure the 5th seed in the Lebanese Basketball League regular season.
In 22 appearances, Gambrell averaged an impressive 25.3 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 5.8 assists per game while logging nearly 37 minutes per contest. His efficiency was equally remarkable, finishing the season with a performance rating of 24.0.
The explosive guard showcased his scoring ability from all areas of the floor, shooting 60% on two-point attempts, 37% from beyond the arc, and 85% from the free-throw line. His combination of shot creation, perimeter shooting, and playmaking made him one of the most difficult players to defend in the Lebanese championship.
Throughout the season, Gambrell consistently carried a significant offensive workload for Antranik, delivering numerous high-scoring performances while serving as the team’s primary scorer and facilitator.
